Remembering, is a Place to go - September 11, 2005

U.S.A. - Remember me with smiles and laughter --- that's how I will remember you. If you can only remember me with tears, please don't remember me at all." - unknown

The "lady" in the harbor "lifts the lamp beside the golden door," ... A welcome to take advantage of everything America has to offer. Enjoy your freedom, it is yours today! Make haste, tomorrow it may cease to be.

On September 11, 2001, "evil" raised its fanatical head against America and the cultures of the world. The "light" of freedom was dimmed, history altered, and the landscape forever changed on the shores of New York City.

Amidst the grim reality of America attacked, we paused for an extended moment and hand-in-hand worked through the pain toward an unveiled known yet to be.

In life there will be valleys ... and though our loved ones lost shall not return, my heart remembers, my tears still flow. Remembering twinkling eyes, remembering the soul of you I still see inside. A special touch, a kiss, a hug, -- the warmth of your smile, the strength of your arms ... A safety haven never more.

I think of all that has happened and know it will get better, but, sometimes it seems no so. I hold onto your strengths to see me through and know in my heart you are there guiding me forever more. I miss you my love ... And when it seems I can no longer bare another day, remembering is the place to go.
